Challenge

Growing the brewery
without outgrowing the experience.

As GGULGGEOK expanded its products,
bilingual content, and audience, the website
needed to do more than showcase the brand.

Experience Strategy

Designing a connected
brewery experience

Rather than simply listing pages,
I grouped related content by user intent,
creating a navigation structure that
supports discovery, exploration, and action.

Information Architecture

Structuring content around exploration

Instead of organizing the website by isolated pages,
I designed an information architecture that supports
how visitors naturally explore the brewery.

Related content was grouped together to make moving between stories,
products, and the brewpub feel intuitive rather than linear.

Exploration Experience

Highlight each seasonal release

Every makgeolli is released in limited batches with its own ingredients, flavors, and story.

I designed a clean product gallery that gives each release equal visual presence
while making it easy for visitors to browse the growing collection.

Tell the story
behind every release

Each product page combines
ingredients, tasting notes, pairings, and product stories
in one place, helping visitors understand
more than just the product itself.

Interactive Food Menu

The menu was designed to keep visitors focused while exploring seasonal dishes.

Selecting an item instantly updates the featured image,
creating a simple and immersive browsing experience without leaving the page.

Connect products with stories

Every seasonal release has a story behind
it from ingredient inspiration to collaborations
and brewery events.

I connected product pages with related journal articles,
allowing visitors to explore the brand beyond
the bottle and discover the context behind each release.

Scalable Content System

Content Flow

Content is managed through reusable
CMS collections and automatically populates
the website through dynamic templates,
making updates consistent and scalable.

Webflow CMS

The client can create, edit, and publish
products and journal entries
without changing the website structure.

From concept to launch

Bringing the design to life

I designed, built, and launched
the entire website, combining AI-assisted
content creation, custom interactions,
and Webflow development to deliver
the intended brand experience.

Reflection

01

Scalability

Designing systems that can grow over time is just as important as creating visually polished interfaces.

02

Bridging Design & Development

Building the website in Webflow strengthened my understanding of how design decisions translate into real implementation.

03

Product Thinking

Thinking beyond individual screens led to more connected user experiences.
